Applications are called from eligible members of good standing of the Institute of Environmental Professionals Sri Lanka (IEPSL), for the award of Chartered Environmental Professional – 2025.

The closing date for applications is Sunday, 23rd November 2025 (Deadline Extended)
Any candidate eligible to apply for the award of the Charter may submit an application on the prescribed form along with the required documents as stated in the above attachments, to the IEPSL Secretariat on or before the closing date.
Please note that the eligibility criteria include that the member must have paid his/her membership fees up to the current year (2025), and has maintained his/her membership status without defaulting in making regular subscription payments for the past three years. If the member has been reinstated (re-admitted) after defaulting in subscription payments, he/she would be eligible to apply, only after completing three years from the date of re-instatement/re-admission.
The decision to award the Charter will be based on the eligibility and competence of the candidate as demonstrated at the evaluation in accordance with the process described in Attachment 2. Eligible candidates who have satisfied the Panel of Evaluators of their professional competence at the professional review will be proposed to the Council for award of the Charter. However, in order to ensure the integrity of the persons receiving the award, the Council will circulate the names of the selected candidates among the general membership, giving an opportunity for any written representations before approval of the list of awardees. A committee of enquiry will be appointed to report on any such written representations, and the Council’s decision on such cases will be final, after consideration of the committee report.
