Dr. Nadeesha Chandrasena, the winner of the WIPO Global Awards 2025 for her groundbreaking invention “Smart Drain – Urban Inventors Winner,” was warmly welcomed at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) through the CIP facility on 19th July 2025.
The Senior officials of the Institute of Environmental Professionals, Sri Lanka (IEPSL) were present to receive and honour her extraordinary achievement in the global environmental innovation arena.
This recognition places Sri Lanka on the world map for sustainable urban solutions and innovative climate resilience.
